The Amande is symmetry you can switch on: a true pair blown or cast in the same session so they age together, balanced to one visual weight, flanking a console or mantel like punctuation.

Lamp bases are turned, cast or blown in the same works as the chandeliers — solid brass with real weight in the foot, blown glass with the maker's swirl caught mid-turn, stone drilled true. Shades are sewn in our atelier: silk over brass ring frames, seams rolled by hand, linings chosen so the lit lamp flatters the room and the faces in it.

Care

Silk shades vacuum gently through a stocking over the nozzle; stains go to a specialist, not a sponge. Rotate the shade a quarter-turn each season so light and sun age it evenly.

Cords wipe dry only. If a cord stiffens, frays or warms, retire the lamp — spare cords are available, and rewiring belongs to a qualified electrician.

What bulb does the lamp take?
The listing names the bulb each design was tuned for — usually an E14 or E27 LED filament at 2700 K. Stay at or under the stated wattage and the shade keeps its colour for decades.

Is the cord length stated?
Yes — cord length, colour and dimmer position are in every listing. Longer cords or a different braid colour are a note at order, not a compromise after.
